GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) is the world’s most widely used mobile system. It’s used on the 900 MHz and 1800 MHz frequencies in Europe, Asia, and Australia, and the MHz 1900 frequency in America. The GSM system is used to make and receive voice and text calls from the User to the vehicle.
GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is a packet-linked technology that enables high-speed (up to 115 kilobit per second) access to wireless Internet in a GSM network. GPRS is IP-based, and allows users to be online continuously. The system uses GPRS to communicate with the web browser. It sends map locations from the GPS to the Web Server so that the on-screen map is able to show your exact location.
