The system has its own battery back up which can function for 12 hours. Should the wiring be tampered with or the power cut, the system will automatically telephone you and let you know. In the event of someone trying to alter the settings for unauthorised use, the system automatically locks down your vehicle, sounds the alarm and notifies you. Your personal settings can be reloaded from the website after successful proof of identity.
